Fire in the open - Chatteris - Fenland

On Monday (8) at 6.36pm, a crew from Chatteris was called to a fire in the open on Forty Foot Road, Swingbrow, Chatteris.

Firefighters used small gear and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

A digger was also used to assist.

The crew returned to their station by 9.30pm.

The area was reinspected the following morning.
