Fire in the open – Cottenham - South Cambs

At 5.48pm on Saturday (20) the south roaming fire engine was called to a fire on Pelham Way in Cottenham. 

Firefighters arrived to find an out of control bonfire in a garden that was spreading to ivy. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 6.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
