Road traffic collision – A505 - South Cambs

At 2.48pm on Saturday (20) the south roaming fire engine, along with a crew from Cambridge and a crew from Royston in Hertfordshire were called to a road traffic collision on the A505 near Flint Cross. 

Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving two vehicles. Using specialist equipment they released two casualties who were left in the care of ambulance crews. 

Another casualty sadly died at the scene. 

The crews returned to their stations by 5pm.
