Fire in the open – Forty Foot Bank - Fenland

At 6.32pm on Saturday (11) a crew from Stanground was called to a fire on Forty Foot Bank near Chatteris.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 8.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
