Building fire - Newham Ward - Cambridge

At 3.16am on Monday (22) crews from Cambridge, Cambourne, Burwell and St Ives along with the turntable ladder were called to a building fire on Trinity Street in Cambridge. 

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. 

Crews returned to their stations by 5am. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
