Flat fire - Stanground - Peterborough

On Wednesday (26) at 5.45pm a crew from Stanground and the north roaming fire engine were called to a flat fire on Fen View, Stanground.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel and positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

Crews rescued one casualty from the property, who can left in the care of the ambulance service.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

The incident concluded shortly after 7pm.
