House fire - Soham - East Cambs

At 3.18pm on Tuesday (18) crews from Ely, Burwell and Newmarket (Suffolk) were called to a house fire on Clay Street in Soham.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crews returned to their stations by 5.45pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
