House fire - Orton Malborne - Peterborough

At 8.09pm on Thursday (20) crews from Yaxley, Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade and Sawtry were called to a house fire on Bodesway in Orton Malborne.

Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and rescued a casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews.

The crews returned to their stations by 9.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
