Road traffic collision – Whittlesey - Fenland

At 10.04pm on Monday (31) crews from Whittlesey and Stanground were called to a fire on the B1040.

Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire, following a collision with a barrier, near Wetland Way. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels. A female casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The crews returned to their stations by 12.30am.
