Fire in the open - Millfield - Peterborough

At 12.27pm on Saturday (12) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire in the open on Gladstone Street in Peterborough.

The crews arrived to find a bonfire that had spread to a house. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 2.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
