House fire - Wisbech - Fenland

At around 4am on Tuesday (15), crews were called to reports of a house fire on Lake Court in Wisbech.

Firefighters from Wisbech and March, as well as crews from Norfolk responded to the incident.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels, jets and small gear to tackle the fire.

All residents were out on arrival. One casualty was treated for burns at the scene.

The incident scaled down at around 6am, before concluding at around 7.45am. The area will be reinspected later in the day to check for any hotspots.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
