Fire in the open – Warboys - Huntingdonshire

At 4.50pm on Friday (18) crews from Gamlingay, March, St Neots and Huntingdon along with the water carrier were called to a fire in the open on Paddock Road in Warboys.

Firefighters used hose reels, jets and beaters to extinguish a field fire involving standing crops.

Crews were at the scene until around 6.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
