Fire in the open - Fowlmere - South Cambs

At 12.48pm on Friday (6) the south roaming fire engine was called to a fire in the open on Green Lane in Fowlmere. 

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish a fire involving a shed and were at the scene until around 2.20pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
