House fire - Woodston - Peterborough

At 12.07pm on Thursday (9) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a house fire on George Street in Peterborough. 

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. 

Crews returned to their stations by 1pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
