Building fire - March - Fenland

At 6.29am on Tuesday (14) crews from March, Chatteris and Wisbech were called to a fire on Acre Road in March.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a derelict building. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet, along with a positive pressure ventilation fan to remove the smoke. They returned to their stations by 9am.

There were no injuries reported.
