Road traffic collision - Fletton Parkway - Peterborough

At 11.55am on Wednesday (6) crew from Stanground, Dogsthorpe, Yaxley and Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade were called to a road traffic collision on Fletton Parkway in Peterborough.

Crews arrived to find a collision involving a car and a heavy goods vehicle.

Using specialist equipment firefighters released a casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews.

Crews returned to their stations by 2.50pm.

Sadly, the casualty died at the scene.
