Fire in the open - Chatteris - Fenland

At 3.33pm on Wednesday (13) a crew from Chatteris was called to a fire in the open on the A142 in Chatteris. 

Firefighters arrived to find a large bonfire unattended. The crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 4.20pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
