Fire in the open - Northstowe - South Cambs

At 1.40pm on Wednesday (22) crews from Cambridge and Huntingdon were called to a fire in the open on Stirling Road in Northstowe. 

Firefighters worked hard using hose reels, beaters and small gear to extinguish a fire affecting approximately 100 metres of field. 

Crews returned to their stations by 3.35pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
