Fire in the open - March - Fenland

On Thursday (23) at 5pm, a crew from March was called to a fire in the open on Upwell Road, March.

The crew arrived to find a fire involving peat. Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, before returning to their station by 6.20pm. The incident was reinspected the following morning.
