Fire in the open - Dogsthorpe - Peterborough

At 2.44pm on Saturday (25) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire in the open on Wesleyan Road in Peterborough. 

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish a fire affecting bushes and trees and returned to their stations by 3.20pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
