Fire in the open - Leighton Bromswold - Huntingdonshire

At 12.29pm on Thursday (6) crews from Kimbolton, Ramsey and Huntingdon were called to a fire on The Avenue in Leighton Bromswold.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a field involving a bailer, along with numerous bales alight.

They used hose reels and drags to extinguish the fire, and farm machinery was used to create a fire break.

Crews returned to their stations by 3.09pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
