Fire in the open - Fengate - Peterborough

On Saturday (12) at 3.19pm, a crew from Stanground was called to a fire in the open on Potters Way, Fengate.

The crew arrived to find rubbish on fire within a wooded area. Firefighters used buckets and an aqua pack to extinguish the fire, before returning to their station by 4.15pm.

The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
