Boat fire – city centre - Peterborough

At 11.07pm on Tuesday (29) crews from Dogsthorpe, Stanground and the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade were called to a fire on Embankment Road in Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a boat in the river. They secured the boat on the bankside and extinguished the fire using hose reels.

The crews returned to their stations by 12.30am.
