Fire in the open – Babraham - South Cambs

At 4.59pm on Tuesday (29) a crew from Cambourne was called to a fire on Cambridge Road in Babraham.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a hay bale spreading to a muck heap. Working with a farmer they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and machinery.

The crew returned to their station by 5.15pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
