Fire in the open - Newborough - Peterborough

At 10.10am on Wednesday (7) crews from Dogsthorpe, Stanground and Crowland were called to a fire in the open on Bridgehill Road in Newborough. 

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish a large out of control bonfire and returned to their stations by 12.30pm. 

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
