House fire - Park ward - Peterborough

On Thursday (1) at 3.25pm, a crew from Dogsthorpe and a crew from Stanground were called to a house fire on Woodbyth Road, Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke issuing from the property. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Crews returned to their station by 4.20pm.
