Building fire – Romsey ward - Cambridge

At 7.15pm on Friday (15) crews were called to a fire on Coleridge Road in Cambridge.  

More than 20 firefighters, including crews from Cambridge, Burwell, Cottenham, Linton and Soham attended the incident.  

The crews arrived to find a well-developed fire in a derelict building, which was previously the Working Men’s Club, with the second floor well alight. They used hose reel jets and the aerial appliance to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 11.20pm
