Building fire - Abbey Ward - Cambridge

At 11.06am on Wednesday (21) crews from Cambridge and Burwell were called to a building fire on Barnwell Road in Cambridge. 

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. 

Crews returned to their stations by 1.30pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
