Fire in the open - Benwick - Fenland

At 6.55pm on Monday (25) crews from March, Chatteris and Littleport were called to a fire on Doddington Road in Benwick.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open that had spread to fencing and two outbuildings. They used hose reels to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 11.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
