Fire in the open - Tydd Gote - Fenland

At 12.29pm on Tuesday (25) crews from Wisbech, Whittlesey, March and Kings Lynn (Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service) were called to a fire in the open on Sutton Road near Tydd Gote. 

Using hose reels and beaters and supported by local farmers firefighters brought the fire under control and extinguished it. 

Crews returned to their stations by 3.10pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
