Field fire - Hilton - Huntingdonshire

On Wednesday (7) at 7.56pm, two crews from Huntingdon were called to a field fire near the B1040 near Hilton.

Firefighters used a knapsack and beaters to extinguish a fire in a small area of grassland.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police by visiting www.cambs.police.uk to submit an online report or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

The crew returned to their station by 9.35pm.
