House fire - Huntingdon - Huntingdonshire

On Thursday (31) at 3.45pm, crews from Huntingdon, St Neots and Chatteris responded to a house fire on Euston Street, Huntingdon.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke issuing from the property.

One person was assisted from the building and was treated by the ambulance service.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

The cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate.

Firefighters returned to their station by 6.40pm.
