Machinery fire – Warboys - Huntingdonshire

At 4.26am on Saturday (8) crews were called to a fire on Puddock Road in Warboys.

Around 20 firefighters, including crews from Chatteris, Huntingdon, St Neots, March and Manea attended the incident.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving farm machinery and around eight tonnes of straw, which was spreading to a barn. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 7.15am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
