Fire in the open - Bretton - Peterborough

At 6.55pm on Wednesday (30) crews from Dogsthorpe, Stanground and Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade were called to a fire in the open on Peacock Way in Peterborough.

Crews arrived to find a fire involving a fence and trees which had spread to a house.

Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene until around 9pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
