House fire - Bretton - Peterborough

At 1.26pm on Friday (16) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a house fire on Sprignall in Peterborough.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

Crews were at the scene until around 2.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
