Fire in the open – Millfield - Peterborough

At 6.57pm on Saturday (8) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a fire on Harris Street in Millfield, Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the garden of a house spreading to neighbouring gardens. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. They returned to their stations by 8.30pm.
