Car fire – A1 - Peterborough

At 8.26pm on Monday (21) Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire on the A1.

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight on the northbound carriageway near Carpenter’s Lodge. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 9.45pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
