Skip fire – Witchford - East Cambs

At 10.59am on Saturday (7) crews from Littleport, Huntingdon and Cottenham were called to a fire on Stirling Way in Witchford.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a large skip containing household waste in a wooden building. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 1.15pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
