Fire in the open – Kennett - East Cambs

At 3.22pm on Tuesday (19) a crew from Burwell along with a crew from Wickhambrook in Suffolk were called to a fire on Dane Hill Road in Kennett.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving around five acres of grassland and extinguished it using hose reels and jets. They returned to their stations by 5.15pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
