Field fire - Bainton - Peterborough

On Tuesday (2) at 1.40pm, one crew from Dogsthorpe and a crew from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a field fire on High Field Road, Bainton.

Crews arrived to find an area of stubble and grass well alight, which was spreading to trees and hedgerow.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and prevent further spread.

The incident was reinspected later in the evening.
