House fire - Market ward - Cambridge

At 10.55am on Tuesday (4) two crews from Cambridge were called to a fire on Panton Street in Cambridge.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the living room of a house. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 12.45pm.

A male casualty was rescued from the property and given first aid and treatment for smoke inhalation by the crews. He was left in the care of ambulance crews.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
