Fire in the open – Benwick - Fenland

At 11.02am on Friday (4) a crew from Ramsey was called to a fire on Ramsey Road in Benwick. 

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open involving at area of peat and extinguished it using a hose reel. They returned to their station by 1.50pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
