Fire in the open – Stretham - East Cambs

At 4.58pm on Friday (4) a crew from Ely was called to a fire on Oak Drive in Stretham. 

Firefighters arrived to find a large unattended bonfire in an area of disused land. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 7pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
