Car fire - Sawtry - Huntingdonshire

On Monday (20) at 1.23pm, crews from Dogsthorpe, Stanground and Huntingdon were called to a car fire on the A1 near Sawtry.

Crews arrived to find smoke issuing from the vehicle. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before returning to their stations by 2.45pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
