House fire – Newnham - Cambridge

At 7.05pm on Tuesday (7) a crew from Cambridge was called to a fire on Grantchester Road in Newnham, Cambridge.  

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a bungalow. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan. They returned to their station by 11pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
