Field fire - Wistow - Huntingdonshire

At 3.55pm on Thursday 10 August crews from St Neots, Huntingdon, Kimbolton and Yaxley were called to a field fire on Harris Lane in Wistow.

Firefighters arrived to find approximately 80m x 80m of standing crop on fire. Using hose reels and beaters crews extinguished the fire before returning to their stations by 5.54pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
