Van fire – A1303 - East Cambs

At 5.16pm on Tuesday (31) a crew from Cambridge, along with a crew from Newmarket in Suffolk, was called to a fire on the A1303 near Swaffham Bulbeck.  

Firefighters arrived to find a van well alight in layby. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 7.15pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
