Fire in the open - Somersham - Huntingdonshire

At 11.50am on Tuesday (5) crews from Huntingdon, Chatteris, Cottenham and St Neots along with the north roaming fire engine and water carrier were called to a fire in the open on King Street in Somersham.

Crews arrived to find a fire involving a shed. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 3.45pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
