Car fire - A1 - Huntingdonshire

At 7.32pm on Tuesday (2) crews from Huntingdon and St Neots were called to a car fire on the A1 near Alconbury.

Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight on the hard shoulder. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 8.30pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
