House fire - Huntingdon - Huntingdonshire

At 3.56pm on Friday (19) crews from St Neots and Huntingdon were called to a house fire on St German Street in Huntingdon.

Firefighters arrived to find a flat fully smoke logged. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crews returned to their stations by 4.05pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
